New Delhi, Jul 13 (IANS): It was a partly cloudy morning in the national capital on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the weather office said.
The Palam observatory recorded 1.3 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours as the Met predicted some rains in the day ahead.
"It will be generally cloudy sky with chances of moderate rains likely to occur later in the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 74 per cent. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
Thursday's maximum settled at 37.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
