Burari like mass suicide in Jharkhand, family of 6 found dead in Hazaribagh house

Hazaribagh, (Jharkhand), Jul 15 (IT): Weeks after the mass suicide that left everyone shocked where 11 members of a family were found hanging in north Delhi's Burari, a similar heart-wrenching incident has been reported from Jharkhand.

Six members of a family -- two men, two women and two children -- were found dead inside their house in Hazaribagh district's Munga Bagicha area on Sunday (July 15) morning.

According to the police, the family decided to end their lives last night as they were debt-ridden.

Police have recovered three suicide notes and a power of attorney which will be investigated, Hazaribagh DSP Chandan Vats said.

The deceased have been identified as Naresh Aggarwal, Mahavir Maheswari, Kiran Aggarwal, Preeti Aggarwal, Anvi Aggarwal and Aman Aggarwal.

"They have written in a note that they killed their son, Aman, as they couldn't hang him," said Vats.

Naresh killed himself in the end by jumping off the roof of his apartment. Two people were found hanging from ceiling fans while one was strangulated to death. The girl child Anvi was poisoned, while Aman was found dead with his throat slit.

A brown envelope was recovered from the scene which had "suicide note" written on it, with the reason for suicide explained in a precise mathematical formula. Written in Hindi with red ink on the top was, "we couldn't hang Aman so we killed him".

The reasons for suicide mentioned in the formula were ill health, end of business, hefty loans, humiliation, and debts, which led to "tension" and eventually "maut" (death).

"We are investigating the case from both suicide and murder angle. A forensic team is collecting samples to ascertain the causes of death," said a police official.

All this bad news started after 2014. With all these horrific incidents happening in the country now how BJP wins election. If not by EVMs, corrupt election officials and black money there is no other way. People are fed up and miserable and have reached end of the road.
