Mangaluru: AICTE sponsored residential FDP commences at Sahyadri

Mangaluru, Jul 17: A seven-day All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) sponsored Residential Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for ‘Student Induction’ commenced in the Sahyadri campus on July 16.

The programme was chaired by AICTE representative Mohan Das and resource persons Sanjeev Chopra and Sivasankar Kanthethi, presided by Dr Umesh M Bhushi, director-Strategic Planning Sahyadri College. In his address, Dr Bhushi cascaded the importance of induction programme and appreciated the AICTE initiatives to build a better
society. Prof S S Balakrishna, vice-principal introduced the resource persons and also shared his views on AICTE Induction Programme. A total of 40 Faculty members from various engineering colleges of Karnataka are currently undergoing the Faculty Development Programme in Sahyadri Campus.



The All India Council for Technical Education is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
