Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah made member of Congress Working Committee

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jul 18: Former chief minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, has been given the membership of Congress Working Committee (CWC), which happens to be the highest policy-making body of the Congress in the country.

There was a perception that after the defeat of Congress in the state, Siddaramaiah was being relegated in terms of importance in his party. However, the high command, which gave him prominence when forming the coalition government, offered him the post of the chairman of coordination committee of the state government. By making him CWC member now, the party has taken steps to assure him that he continues to be held in high esteem by the party high command.

The CWC been revamped, and veteran Congress leader from Karnataka, Mallikarjun Kharge, happens to be a member of this committee. Another senior party leader from Karnataka and former minister, K H Muniyappa, has been given the status of special invitee.

The new list of CWC has been released with 18 members and ten special invitees. The list comprises names of leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Siddaramaiah, Manmohan Singh, A K Antony, Oommen Chandy, and K C Venugopal among others.

Those who have any grouse please read my comments properly before commenting
    on them.
I have written never Trust POLITICIANS.
And I do some research too .....
In our scriptures it is etched that
Never believe a man who cries
A woman who giggles too often.
A search in History also reveals that there was no Pais.Pai became Pais.We are all
Lost families fighting now for God knows what !

Mr. Bhandarkar, thanks for your note, as per your own statement " Never believe a man who cries " - what about your dearest person (leader) who cries in a public meetings whenever he feel's his party's popularity is declining ?.

You still believe him (who has given crying vikaas to Indiay)?

    Sidaa
    An Ex CM
A man having no self respect when he acted as a broker to make his sworn enemy the present CM
A man reduced to writing letters for continuation of his Bhagyaas.
A glorified beggar now being appointed to various committee s having no power.

A man should not stoop so low even in Politics.
He should know when to quit.

Quite interestingly you must have seen both the Ex and Present CMs weep in public.
    One who fooled
    One trying to fool
Never trust politicians. See the shameless levels they stoop to...

Whom you are advising. Actor, or politicians. I read your message and could understand message , in between the line too . You are pointing at Siddaramaiah and you are up, to his personality assassination.

You have very smartly left Colgate smile Gowdajee, crying baby Yeddijee..

If the leaders have appointed Siddaramiah as their team member, what is itching you. For me, he has done great job. What is lacking with him refined polished approach.
