Mangaluru: St Aloysius College launches National Service Scheme

Mangaluru, Jul 18: The activities of the National Service Scheme of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) for the year 2018-19 was inaugurated recently by Renny D’Souza, director of Childline, Dakshina Kannada at Eric Mathais Hall.

Renni D’Souza briefed about Children’s Rights and their involvement in the same. He named the areas through which NSS volunteers can help society in taking care of the rights of children. He also shared his memories as NSS volunteer at St Aloysius College which helped him to go advance in his career.





For information of new volunteers NSS activity of the previous year was presented. A video of NSS annual camp 2017 was also shown.

Shruthi and team began the programme with a prayer song. Florin Soans welcomed the gathering and NSS secretary Ashish D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Shruthi and Sushma. The programme ended by singing the NSS anthem.
