New Delhi, Jul 18 (IANS): It was a cloudy morning in the national capital on Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain cloudy with chances of light rain or drizzle later in the day," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius. There was no rain on Tuesday. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 73 per cent.
The maximum temperature on Tuesday settled at 37.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum was 28 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
