Udupi: CM to Inaugurate ‘Anna Yajna Dhama’ of Sri Krishna Math on Oct 10

Udupi, Oct 7: Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will inaugurate the newly-built ‘Anna Yajna Dhama’, a kitchen and dining facility at Puttige Math at 9.00 am on Friday October 10, said Sri Sugunendrateerta Swami of Puttige Math, in a press conference on Monday October 6.
 
This will be the first project executed by the Sri Krishna Math, as part of the beautification endeavour of the Math that was undertaken at a cost of Rs 70 lac, added  Swami Sugunendrateerta. The state-of-the-art kitchen and dining facility has a treatment plant to process the leftover food and plantain leaves, a first of its kind in south India, he informed.
 
District-in-charge minister Dr V S Acharya, MLA Raghupathy Bhat, Bangalore Century Group managing director Dayanand Pai, New Delhi hotelier Jayaram Banana, Nitte Education Trust chairman Vinay Hegde, and Kolkatta entrepreneur Ramesh Agarwal, will be present on the occasion.
