Mangaluru, Jul 23: The dead body, found wrapped in gunny bag on Saturday late night, is that of a woman, police have revealed.
The body was found at Babugudde 4th Cross near a stream. The body, wrapped in a gunny bag with the legs folded, was seen at around midnight.
The woman is aged between 60 and 70. She had sustained an injury mark on her head. Her identity is yet to ascertained.
The woman, with wheatish complexion, had a height of 5 feet 9 inches. She wore a nightie.

The body is kept at Wenlock Hospital.
