Pegasystems appoints new Chief People Officer


New Delhi, Jul 24 (IANS): Global software firm Pegasystems on Tuesday announced the appointment of Adriana Bokel Herde as its Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President.

Reporting to Pega's Founder and CEO Alan Trefler, she will be responsible for the company's global people strategy and operations.

Bokel Herde will succeed Jeff Yanagi who is retiring from Pega, the company said in a statement.

"Adriana will bring valuable experience to Pega as we continue to grow and innovate," said Trefler.

Bokel Herde has earlier worked in senior positions with companies like PeopleDoc and Biogen.

"There is a tremendous opportunity for employee engagement, as well as finding new industry talent, to help support Pega's growth objectives," said Bokel Herde.
