CRPF trooper injured in Srinagar militant attack


Srinagar, Jul 24 (IANS): One CRPF trooper was in a militant attack here on Tuesday, police said.

Militants attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol near the police control room in Batmaloo area of the city, leaving a trooper injured, a police official said.

The injured CRPF personnel was shifted to hospital and the area has been cordoned off for searches, police said.
