Mangaluru, Jul 25: St Agnes College (autonomous), department of Economics on Monday July 23 organized a guest lecture for BA economics students on the topic Karnataka State Budget – 2018.
Dr Jayavanth Nayak, associate professor of Economics, University College, Mangaluru was the key speaker. He discussed the various aspects of the state budget and its impact on the economy.
The lecture was followed by a session on budget preparation by Reji John, assistant professor of economics, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, where he focused on different components of the budget and its practical implementation. The session ended with students’ interaction with the resource persons.
