Mangaluru, Jul 27: Shakthi Residential School, here on July 26 observed 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' at its premises.
Children participated in a special assembly, organised to honour the 'Martyrs of the War'.
Teacher, Ashwitha in her message expressed respect for the soldiers who sacrificed their lives to safeguard the country. She also motivated the students to be loyal to the nation.
The principal Madhulika addressed the gathering and added a few fact files of Indian Soldiers.
The National Anthem was sung and the school visited the 'Martyrs war Memorial' near Kadri Hills, Mangaluru. As a token of respect the school paid floral tributes to the brave soldiers.
