Mangaluru: Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrated at St Mary’s PU College

Mangaluru, Jul 27: St Mary’s PU College recently commemorated the great martyrs on ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’. Venkatesh Kumpala former military physiotherapist was the chief guest at the programme.

In his addressal to the gathering he emphasized the selfless service rendered by our soldiers and urged the students to take on careers in the armed forces.

Students presented a cultural programme depicting patriotic fervor in the form of a dance drama and patriotic song thus paying homage to the Kargil martyrs. A short documentary of Kargil war scenes was screened.



Vijayalakshmi, chemistry lecturer welcomed the gathering.

Fathima Israh compered the programme. Hiba Jameela rendered the vote of thanks.

The celebration concluded with an echo Jai Hind.
