Mangaluru: Bunny Day celebrated at St Aloysius Gonzaga School

Mangaluru, Jul 27: The ‘Bunny Movement’ for kindergartners was inaugurated on Friday, July 27 at St Aloysius Gonzaga School.

The programme began with prayer song and lighting of the lamp. The tiny tots were given awareness during the circle time. Principal academics Grace Noronha presided over the function. Nishel D’Almeda, All India Best Cadet Junior Air Wing, was the chief guest of the day. Adithi Narayan from KG II welcomed the gathering.

Chief Guest Nishel D ‘Almeda in her address explained the motto of the Bunny Movement ‘keep smiling’. She also told the children to be happy, smart and kind. Children performed rhythmic drill with bunny props. Later they were honoured with ‘Bunny aprons’. The ‘Bunnies’ took oath and said ‘I shall be a good child’. The principal advised them to be smart and quick like the bunnies. It was a proud and exciting moment for the parents who witnessed the ceremony. Kavrynne Rodrigues from KG II rendered the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
