Dubai, Oct 10:
The eighth anniversary of ‘Emirates Putturians’ was held on Friday October 10 at Mirch Club, Hotel Ramee Royal Hotel. The ‘Sweet Melodies’ band consisting of Arun Carlo, Sheela Carlo, Canute Roshan Carlo, and Vijay, enthralled the viewers with their choicest Konkani, Hindi, and English hits which kept the gathering on the dance floor for long.

Various games were also held separately for men, couples, and children. Alex Gonsalves, current president and out-going president Antony Mascarenhas, felicitated the sponsors of the event. Entry ticket prizes were presented to the lucky winners.

It was a wonderful opportunity for all Emirates Putturians to exchange good wishes and strengthen their bonds in a foreign country. Gonsalves welcomed the gathering while Uttam Menezes compered the programme with his lively and unique style.
