Ashok Leyland logs 27% volume growth in July


Chennai, Aug 1 (IANS): Commercial vehicle major Ashok Leyland Ltd on Wednesday said it closed July with 27 per cent growth in sales volume.

In a statement issued here, the company said it sold 15,199 units last month, up from 11,981 units sold in July 2017.

A major part of the growth in sales was contributed by its light commercial vehicles segment.
