Sullia: Man creates history by marrying several, putting wife on sale

Daijiworld Media Network - Sullia (SP)

Sullia, Aug 3: The scandalous and colourful stories pertaining to a man from the taluk, who had married several ladies over a period of time, are tumbling out one by one. It transpires that the man, identified as Dinesh from Mandekolu here, who had deserted his native place 22 years back and came back a few days back, led a crazy life. Stories about him have also been making a splash in social websites.

Dinesh had married his first wife when he was in his native place. He then abandoned his wife and child, sold the land he owned, and went to Kerala where he settled down. Stories circulated about him claim that he had married when in Mangaluru, Bantwal, Puttur and Kerala.

About a decade back, he had come to his native place to attend the renovation work of a Daivasthana attached to his family. He was moving in a car and sometimes even visited Mandekolu, it is said. Details of his past life were not even known to his family members. A few months ago, some people came searching for him from Mangaluru. He escaped from their clutches and fled, never to be seen. Again, the family does not know who came hunting for him and why.

Reportedly he had attempted to sell his wife. He took her to Bengaluru, and locked the door of the room when she was changing, and went away to bring intending buyers. She somehow got to know about his intention and escaped from this vicious plan.

It is said that Dinesh used to marry some for money. He used to choose poor or widowed women and rob them by promising to provide them life support. He used several cellphone numbers and transacted with different people. By using his convincing skill and looks, he used to deceive women, performed the drama of marrying them, and made good his escape with their property and ornaments. Some say he deceived a woman from Puttur to the extent of seven lac rupees.

After the information that Dinesh used to visit a house at Mandekolu reached her, a woman, who claimed that she was cheated by Dinesh, came to Mandekolu along with relatives about ten days back. She told the story of how she was taken for a ride by Dinesh, fought with his family here, and did not heed to the explanation provided by the people in the village that Dinesh has severed all connection with his family now. Finally, the locals succeeded in pacifying and sending her away, it is said.

District superintendent of police, Ravikanthe Gowda, and police commissioner, T R Suresh, said that if someone complains about this person's deeds, the police will do their best to bring him to book.

1.Again another confusing story beautifully explained.

    2. This about a man creating history by marrying several ,putting wife on sale.

3.However,many confused which one was on sale.

4."He took her to Bengaluru, and locked the door of the room when she was changing, and went away to bring intending buyers. She somehow got to know about his intention and escaped from this vicious plan."

Read the above. That is what I call '' detailed explanation". Never read anything
like it, but there's always a first time. " Intending Buyers"...Very Good.

    5. Marry some widowed and poor for money and offer them life support.
Very good. Something like " Ventilator Support " aa? Very nice.

    6. However the "Mandekolu Episode" even if you make your "Mande" head that is..Upside ..down . You should hit your Mande with a Kolu and finally you might understand something.

All in all ..a confusing story of a man who wedded many ,created history and wanted to sell one is neatly explained.

At the end also one inspector also confused and not registering complaint.

    Whooooooooooooosh...
    What all people...What all stories...

Why DW chaddiless supporters want BD to take action?, why can't they themselves take action?, so they want sit and enjoy while some others suffer? It is BD to decide to act or not act as per the information the get. If it is not aware how you expect them to take action?, further if they take action like stopping cattle theft then also you blame them if they don't act then also you blame them. They r here not to dance to your tune.

A biggest crime one ever can make.Marrying several times several places, getting child/ren ,abandoning them,to last trying to sell the wife.!One has to ask whether he is a human, does he mean what and how one can abandon a child, who needs badly a father during his childhood ,wife so wie so.No,It is happening because there is no registering a marraige in Hindu people.suppose one is registered and want to marry a second, immediately they can findout that he is already married, and not divorced.why after so many years of our independence ,no rule to register ones marraige status..high time to think over it.So many women and children are suffering because of it .Hope they will nab him and make to understand he cant slip away form clutches of law.Cheating many women money and duping too.

Even christian marriages are not registered when it's done in the church. Again one should marry in the court and that time it will be legal, registered. Automatically church marriages are not get registered by its own.
Same way Hindu community too. If they marry in the temple, they will have too get married in the court... Rita. When Hindu brethren marry in the hall, they take letter from the concerned authorities of the hall, sealed and signed, attach with their wedding invitation and get it done notary through a registered lawyer.Rule applies to all.

@Cynthia mangalore,I didnt know this as previously they never did this in court may be newly. When they register really how come this fellow so many times without the notice of registrar ?and without divorce? It is a bigamy or trigamy?I am sure he must have never entered the court to registrate? At least catholics are registered in church books and previously it was enough for any registration .But now they demand everywhere court registrationlegal way. Here without registration marraige cant be married in church. Now digital system is there ,that itself can show the entry in books. How come this fellow managed to marry everywhere is a big question.whether by using different names?
