Mangaluru: Hit by moving train, 23-year-old woman dies

Mangaluru, Aug 8: A woman died after a moving train hit her at Thokkottu on Wednesday, August 8.

Tabassum (23), daughter of Mohammed Kunhi from Kankanady, is the person deceased.

As per details available, Tabassum was crossing the railway track when the train hit her and she died on the spot.

Tabassum was married and was a pharmacy student.

    Can you please advise all train pilots to be more vigilant from a long distance to apply break slowly, so that the human lives can be saved. There is a solution for everything. Drivers cannot ignore this.

    It is reported in the news here above that she was crossing the Railway Track and e is a Pharmacy student when the train was moving. Crossing a Railway Track is an offence, besides she is a Pharmacy student. It was her own fault and lost her life. RIP

    It is disgraceful to see many persons including two wheelers cross the track at Manned Level Crossing at Jeppu Mahakali, even when the train approaches.

    Even God comes from Heaven will not be able to help them and they are beyond redemption. Jai Hind

    She read Pharmacy. She did not know Indian Railways runs train on rails only.If she had read Direct Impact and Oblique Impact in Physics this accident would not have happened. Next time please graduate in Physics.
