Army recovers large cache of arms in J&K


Jammu, Aug 10 (IANS): Security forces on Friday recovered arms and ammunition during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

"The army has recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including 9mm pistols, magazines, rounds, one AK-56 rifle, one revolver, 14 hand grenades and one 7.62 mm foreign made rifle," defence sources said.

The recovery was made in the Mandi tehsil.
