Taliban commander killed in Afghan drone strike


Kabul, Aug 12 (IANS): A key Taliban commander was killed on Sunday in a drone strike that targeted a militant hideout in Afghanistan's Laghman province.

The strike was followed a tip-off, killing the commander and injuring three of his guards, reports Xinhua news agency. The commander's identity was not disclosed.
