New Delhi, Aug 22 (IANS): After Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, now the employees of her secretariat have pledged to donate their one day's salary to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund to assist rehabilitation work in flood-hit Kerala.
Mahajan -- as also Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu -- had on Monday announced that she will donate her one month's salary towards the relief work in Kerala through the PM's Relief Fund.
They had also appealed to all MPs to try donating their one month's salary.
Kerala has been hit hard by the worst floods in a century, leaving hundreds dead and lakhs displaced.
