Kasargod: 20 injured as bus rams into house due to brake failure

Kasargod, Aug 22: In a close shave for the passengers, a private bus which went out of control of its driver, hit the wall of a roadside house at Rajapuram here on Wednesday afternoon, August 22.

Twenty people suffered injuries in the accident. One person among them is said to be in critical condition. The bus was on its way from Kanhangad to Panathoor. Brake failure is said to be the reason for the accident.

Locals and Rajapura station police admitted the injured to hospitals in Kanhangad and Mavungal. The passenger who suffered critical injures was shifted to Mangaluru hospital.
