Naxal violence down because of development - M J Akbar

Panaji, Aug 25 (IANS): Naxal violence in the country has come down because welfare measures have reached remote areas, said Minister of State for External Affairs M J Akbar on Saturday.

He said had there been no job creation in the country, there would have been anger on the streets.

"Look at the impact of Mudra (loan scheme) on some of the most important problems we are facing. The fact is that naxal violence has come down because development is reaching those areas," Akbar told a function at an educational institute in Mapusa town, located 15 km off Panaji.

Akbar said the poor were at the forefront of the support base of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    You are a minister for external affairs so talk about your accomplishment in that portfolio. How is the relationship with China, Pakistan, Russia any development in that front?. I think zero same as jobs created by your master Feku senior. Naxal violance is going on strong and it is down not on development but media restriction. Development is only of your stomach which is bloating out day by day.

    When MMS was there Our GDP created history of height and economy was top and this huge economy gave media scandal like 2g and many more of huge figure.Today we here of Chikki scam, sugar scam, rice scan, groundnut scam..... If there is no money scam also low scam and poor Naxals may not able generate money due to poor Economy and so they are silent .Wake up Minister ....Stop fooling people
