Bantwal: Carmel College Modankap Youth Red Cross establishes year's activities

Bantwal, Aug 28: Youth Red Cross unit of Carmel College, Modankap inaugurated its activities for the year 2018-19 with an input session.

Advocate, Santhosh Peter D'Souza, member of district Red Cross Society was chief guest for the inauguration as well as resource person. Through examples and video clippings, he instilled in the students the spirit of the founder of the Red Cross, Sir Jean Henry Dunant.

He highlighted that a member of YRC should be humane, possess a spirit of service with a smile and work with unity.



Principal Prof Sr M Supriya AC, staff co-ordinator of YCR unit, Vinitha Veigas, associate staff co-ordinator Veena M, student secretary of YRC unit, Iral M Lobo II BCom were present. Babitha Lasrado, I BCom welcomed the gathering, Niyaz I BCom proposed the vote of thanks and Merita Albuquerque compered the programme.
