Rahul Gandhi delays trip, allows air ambulance to fly first during Kerala visit

Chenganur, Aug 29(PTI): In a goodwill gesture, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday allowed an air ambulance with a patient to take off first before his helicopter did from a helipad at a college to Alappuzha. Soon after boarding the helicopter at Chenganur Christian college, Gandhi noticed the air ambulance parked at the helipad and asked the SPG personnel about it.

They told him that it was to shift a patient with a cardiac problem from a relief camp at Chengannur to Alappuzha Medical College.

"Rahul then asked the SPG personnel to allow the air-ambulance to take off first and waited for 30 minutes to pave way for the air ambulance to fly first," Congress leader and former MLA PC Vishunath said.

Gandhi arrived in Kerala on a two-day visit this morning and spoke to people at relief camps, days after the deadliest deluge in the last 100 years left a trail of destruction and claimed 474 lives in rain-related incidents since May 29 when the monsoon set in over the state.

    Even though I am a staunch supporter of BJP (whoever the leader may be), But in such cases what I feel that, if we can't appreciate a person for his good gesture or deeds, then we can't criticize a person just because he belongs to opposition party. He may not be a matured politician in comparison to other big politicians, But as a person he has proved many a times to be a good human being with simplicity who normally interacts and mingles with common people like our former PM late Mr. AB Vajpayeeji and never seen him showing any kind of arrogancy like our todays politicians. This is my perspective.

    We can clearly see the frustration of BJP Andh Bhakths through their comments. What Feku couldn't do in his life time for the human kind, RG has done whenever there is a need. And funniest part is our Andh Bhakths do cut and paste what BJP Spokespersons (like big lier Sambit Patra) have told in their paid media channels (like Republic, Times Now, Aaj Tak, Zee News), since these low IQ level Andh Bkakths doesn't have the general knowledge.
    God too can't help these Bhakths, because BJP IT Cell has replaced their real brain with cow dung.
    And for your kind information Bhakthooooooon, as per RG instructions as a party, All the Congress MP and MLAs have donated one month of their salary to Kerala floods on August 18. But what BJP as a party has given to Kerala. Can any bhakths disclose us. Or this also can't be disclosed as secret like Rafale deal.

    Let me tell you your culture - your PM on his first ID speech, asked you to build toilets because the world laughs at India seeing human waste in the open. So, culture teaching started in 2014, it did not exist before or after the British left.

    The PM had to force you to build toilets because your women were dragged and raped when they went to relieve in the dark (during day time there is no cover around).

    India is a multi-lingual society.
    We the citizens have the right to speak in our mother tongue to individuals as well as to our God.

    Those who live in a Multi-Lingual society they should know at least three or four languages which is a benefit for himself.

    The beuty of writing in one language cannot be translated to another language as it is. It certainly differs its sweet vocabulary.
