Bengaluru: CM encounters barrage of issues from public during Janata Darshan

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Sep 2: Chief Minister (CM) H D Kumaraswamy heard a number of issues that are faced by the public in the 'Janata Darshan' that was held on Saturday, September 1. More than 1,000 petitions were received during the programme. Every petition had a sad story behind it. The way the public appraised their grievances to the CM showed the pathetic and non-responsive system of administration of the state.

More than 1,056 appeals pertaining to different departments were received during the programme. Out of this more than 214 appeals were related to the deputy commissioners (DC) of various districts. The appeals that could have sorted out at the district level had come to the level of CM.

Most of the appeals were about the medical expenses, employment, site, loan for self-employment and harassment from private money lenders. The CM called the officials of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes development corporation during the programme and took them to task.

We are sorry that the CM has to face large number of petitions relating to
issues faced by public at various levels due to non responsive system in the
state. I must congratulate the CM for his patience to listen to the peoples
grivances . It is true that the main reason for such issues is the Non responive
attitude of State officials. Soit is time to take the officials intoconfidence
and try to mitigate them. It is better the DeputyChiefMinister is also present
The administration especially BBMP is to be geared up to minimise the
public givances by pomptly attejnding to complaints. BBMP Sahaaya is
also lacking in their approach Any complaints received especially reg
drainage footpath repais waste disposal should be coodinated between depts
by themselves instead of providing the public with;justtelephe nos of Engineers
for followup by the persons who made the complaints. Even then thecomplaints not attended within reasoable time say 7days but simply
marked rejected Hope the administration will be proactive insteadof negative May we ?

CM is facing a giagantic talsk of attending to peoples grievances in person. This may not work on a longer run. Why cant he instruction all the responsible areas to take a note of peoples appeals and regievances and report to him accordingly.
    Bechara CM.!
Such activities may effect on his health conditions too.
