Mangaluru: Blood donation camp held by Milagres College Hampankatta NSS

Mangaluru, Sep 3: National Service Scheme of Milagres College Hampankatta, here organised a one day blood donation camp in association with the city's Lions Club Thulunadu, Lions Club Alangar and KMC Hospital, Attavar, here on September 1 at the college auditorium.

Fr Michael L Santhumayor, principal of Milagres College, chief guest Ln Wilson Diwakar Kaundinya, president Lions Club Mangaluru Thulunadu, guest of honor, Ln Herald Tauro, president Lions Club Alangar, DR Sharal, KMC Hospital Attavar Mangaluru, Ciciliya Pereira management member, Lavina Lobo, PTA president, Prof Lourdsamy, academic advisor, Cassin Rodrigues, vice principal, Nikhil Martis NSS programme officer were present on the dais.



The programme was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp. Cassin Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Ln Wilson Diwar Kaundinya inspired the students to donate blood and briefed them on the importance of donating blood.

Ln Herald Tauro urged the students to involve themselves in providing service to society by donating blood.

65 students donated blood during the camp.

The programme was compered by Nishmitha of III BCom.

Nikhil Martis proposed the vote of thanks.
