Mangaluru: Traditional Day celebrated at St Mary’s PU College

Mangaluru, Sep 3: Nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people. To promote ‘Unity in Diversity’, traditional day was celebrated recently at St Mary’s PU College, Falnir.

It was observed as a celebration of India’s diverse culture. Students were dressed up in their best traditional attire, representing different states of our country. Celebration of regional festivals, weddings and traditional dances were presented through variety entertainment.



As a part of the celebrations, singing and dance competitions were also held. Saushan compered the programme. The event was a feast to the eyes and definitely strengthened the bond among the students and created respect for ethnic diversity.

Principal, Sr Rachana and the staff graced the colourful event. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Kanjul Azmeen and the national anthem.
