Udupi, Sept 3: A car and a lorry collided at Nittoor near here on Monday, September 3 and as a result, one person sustained serious injuries.
Manish (19) is the injured person.
The accident took place in front of Silas International School.
The car and lorry were moving from Nittoor towards Udupi. The car, while overtaking the lorry, collided with it.
Manish, Stephan, Suchin and Shreyas were travelling in the car. Out of them, Manish sustained serious injuries and he has been admitted to a hospital.
All the occupants of the car are from Garadimajal.
The lorry was carrying electric poles.
Police have registered a case.
