Mangaluru, Sep 4: Kadri Cricketers Club (R) celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with an exuberant 'Mosaru Kudike' followed by a star-studded ‘Rhythmic Nite-2018’ musical show here at Kadri ground on Monday, September 4.

Well known comedian Sadhu Kokila and singer Raghu Dixit were the main attractions of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Sadhu Kokila said, "It has been privilege for me to visit Mangaluru on this beautiful occasion. I am part of a singing reality show, in which top three contestants are from Mangaluru. It is good to see that people of the coastal belt are so inclined towards music.” 

Sadhu Kokila released the trailer of Kannada movie 'Virupa' directed by Punik Shetty.

Sadhu Kokila also sang a track 'Neenondu Mugiyada Mauna' from the movie ‘Yedegarike’.

Raghu Dixit entertained the audience with his energetic performance by singing the tracks like ‘Munjane Manjalli’, ‘Gudi Gudiya’, ‘Mahadeshwara’, ‘Just Maath Maathalli’ and many more.

Raghu Dixit said, "I thank producer Rohan Shetty for giving me the opportunity to sing a track in 'My Name is Annappa' which is my debut Tulu movie and it has come out really well.”

There was special dance performance by Team Velocity, Team Revolution, Team Different and Agni Group Bengaluru.

Singer Ajay Warrier and Ankitha Kundhu sang tracks from Hindi and Kannada movies.
Sadhu Kokila and Raghu Dixit were felicitated along with Naik Praveen Shetty, a Kargil war hero.

In a formal function, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Mangaluru South, MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty, Mangaluru North, mayor Bhaskar Moily, MCC chief whip Shashidhar Hegde, district Congress president Harish Kumar, Corporator Ashok, managing director Bhandary Builders Lakshmish Bhandary, Uday Poojary and others graced the occasion.
