Mangaluru, Sep 5: In an accident that occurred in Jubail in Saudi Arabia on the morning of Tuesday, September 4, a native of Suratkal lost his life.
Zakir Hussain (38), formerly resident of Honnala near Brahmavar in the district of Udupi and presently a resident of Chokkabettu, Krishnapura near Suratkal in the city since four years is the unfortunate victim who died in this accident.
Zakir was working in Saudi since 15 years. He is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter and parents.
Zakir had been to Mangaluru last month to attend the marriage of one of his relatives and returned to Saudi after completion of the marriage function, as per the information available from the family sources.
