Mangaluru, Sep 6: A traffic policeman from the city exemplified his duty consciousness by pushing aside a car that had developed problems and stranded on the road, alone. This incident happened in the middle of the road near KPT Circle in the city.
The policeman in question has come in for lavish praise from the people. He has been identified as Balachandra Gowda B V. He was posted at KPT Circle to regulate traffic when this incident happened.
The video clip showing Gowda pushing the car alone is being widely shared in social media.
Balachandra had served Indian Army before joining police service. He says that his experience and training in Indian Army enabled him to push the heavy car alone to ease traffic on the road.
