Kasargod, Sep 6: In a freak incident, a person was killed after his car toppled on a house after he lost control over it.
The incident took place at Eriyampuya near Kuthikol on Thursday, September 6. The deceased has been identified as Eriyampuya resident E T Gopikrishna(60). He lost control of the car at Beetiadka curve when it was on the way from Eriyampuya to Bovikkana. Sajina, a woman who got into the car on the way was also injured.
Though locals and police took Gopikrishna to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. It is suspected that Gopikrishna suffered cardiac arrest while driving the car and died after which he lost control over it. Gopikrishna was a farmer and well-known diving expert.
The body was handed over to this relatives after post-mortem at Kasargod general hospital.
