Udupi: C M Kumaraswamy visits Krishna Math, Palimar Swamiji honours him

Udupi, Sep 7: Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy visited Sri Krishna Math on Friday, September 7.

Kumaraswamy visited the Madhwa Sarovara pond at the Math first and consumed holy water.

Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji of Palimar Math, who is the present Paryaya, performed puja during the occasion. He also blessed the CM.

Palimar Swamiji told CM that Sri Krishna Math will adopt one of the villages in Kodagu district which was ravaged by floods last month.

 



Palimar Swamiji honoured the CM and presented a gift.

District in-charge minister Jayamala, JD(S) leaders Vasudeva Rao, Yogish Shetty and Bhoje Gowda were present among others.

Kumaraswamy proceeded to Manipal from the Math where he will hold a district level meeting with the officials.

CM will visit Mangaluru in the afternoon and return to Bengaluru later at night.
