Mangaluru: Sahyadri MBA department organises leadership development programme

Mangaluru, Sep 7: Department of Business Administration of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, here organised a one-day 'Leadership Development Programme' (LDP) for UG Students.

The theme of the programme (LDP) was 'Discover the Leader in You'. A total of 175 students from 25 colleges participated in the programme. Three sessions were facilitated by the Sahyadri in-house faculty – Dr Vishal Samartha, director-MBA; Ankith S Kumar, student counsellor and Prof Mithun Ullal.



The key feature of this year’s LDP, was the visit to the in-house start ups/industries to view the work flow and also to interact with company heads. Sahyadri has not only awakened the leadership ability through sessions, but has also made them exposed to a corporate environment.

Prof Venkatramana Bhat, head of Commerce & Management Department of Vivekananda College, Puttur was the chief guest and Soujanya Hegde, Popular – India Worldwide 2017, 

administrative head of Namma Tv channel, managing director of ‘Lets Party’ – A Complete Party Store, president of JCI Mangaluru - Lalbagh was guest of honour at the
inaugural ceremony. Sahyadri College principal Dr R Srinivasa Rao Kunte was also present.
