Mangaluru: Final year BBM student dies after speeding lorry hits near Kinnigoli

Mangaluru, Sep 7: A degree student was killed in a road mishap here near Pompei College at Moorukaveri in Kinnigoli on September 7.

The deceased has been identified as Varshith Kotian from Karnad Mulky, a 3rd year BBM student.

The accident occurred on Friday afternoon when a over-speeding lorry hit him.

 

A case has been registered Mulky police station.

    RIP very sad. government and officer busy in corruption, people only talk about political murder but they don't have time to even think about these innocent deaths.one government will go and another will come but people suffering never change that is make in india start up india just collecting toll charges, taxes and fine but no securities for people life unnecessary death by negligence of traffic department which don't have any plan to reduce these accidents even media don't have time discuss this matter in prime time.

    Not even a day passes off without the news of an accident. I feel very sad when someone dies at an accident. I wish everyone drives slowly and carefully Maybe traffic police must punish these offenders who drive fast. Feeling very sad

    @Divya Bondel why ?so that speeding lorrys can go without limit further.Common man has no right on rad.?These lorries are really a nuisence to pedastrians,two wheelers and other vehicles.They dont mind speed .May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathys to the family.

    Can stop falsely accusing truck drivers. I have seen most of all students riding two wheeler recklessly . U may remember Bajpe Incident , Simply they seized Truck after the incident, It was the Biker who killed pillion rider by his careless riding.

    I do agree with you Divya...cannot say how fast they ride on the road! I too sometimes feel as to why our parents also unaware of their children safety?
    Unable to see their reckless driving more over unable to digest their death so badly..
