Missing J&K youth found murdered


Srinagar, Sep 9 (IANS): Police in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday said that a youth who went missing last month, was found murdered, while two suspects has been arrested.

"Mehrajuddin Teli's father had filed a complaint on August 26 saying that his son had gone missing two days earlier from Tangmarg area. Efforts were on to locate Teli," the police said in a statement.

While interrogation, the two suspects, Irshad Ahmed Wani and Imtiyaz Ahmed Wani, admitted that they had murdered Teli on the day he went missing and buried his body few kilometres away from the area.

"Teli's body was exhumed by a team of medical and forensic experts in presence of a Magistrate," the statement added.

Further investigation into the incident is on going.
