PM Narendra Modi launches Swachhta Hi Sewa drive through video message

New Delhi, Sep 15 (Zee News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the nation-wide Swachhta Hi Sewa cleanliness campaign through a video message. The Prime Minister lauded the Swachhagrahis for their immense contribution towards ensuring cleanliness across the country.

In his video address, Prime Minister Modi said that the campaign is aimed at fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a clean India.

Talking about the Swachh Bharat initiative of the government, Prime Minister Modi mentioned that almost nine crore toilets have been constructed across the country in the past four years. He said that 90 per cent of India’s population has started using toilets.

According to the Prime Minister, more than 450 districts across the country are open defecation free today. He added that 20 states and Union Territories have also become open defecation free.

“Merely construction of toilets does not help. The habit needs to be inculcated,” said the Prime Minister.

The campaign will continue till October 2. Ahead of the campaign, Prime Minister Modi had written to almost 2,000 citizens from different walks of life, inviting them to be a part of the cleanliness drive.

Those invited by Prime Minister to join the campaign included judges, retired government officials, winner of gallantry awards, Commonwealth and Asian Games medallists, Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, Governors, Lieutenant Governors, journalists, sportspersons, film personalities and spiritual gurus.

In his letter, the prime minister described the Swachh Bharat Mission as a mass movement that has ushered in a 'swachhata revolution' across India. He asked the recipients of the letters to support the mission and inspire others to do the same.

The Prime Minister interacted with those working on cleanliness activities and a cross-section of people from 18 locations across the country via video conferencing.

Prime Minister Modi interacted and inaugurate the campaign through video conferencing in 18 places – Mehsana, Dibrugarh, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Noida, Sikkim, Dantewada, Salem, Fatehpur, Patna Sahib, Rajgarh, Mt Abu, Ajmer, Simdega, Kochchi, Bengaluru, Bijnor and Rewari.

BJP must call an urgent meeting on Rafale. Because everyone seems to be speaking some other shit.

    Listen to this;
    1. PM Modi says that we paid extra for 36 jets in flyaway condition because of change in specifications and urgency.
    2. One minister says we got the jets 9% cheaper than UPA price with new additions.
    3. Second minister says we got the jets 20% cheaper than UPA price with new additions.
    4. Meanwhile Qatar has bought the same jets at a price similar to what UPA had negotiated.
    5. DM says offset contract was not given to HAL because it was incompetent.
    6. DM says that we did not buy 126 because we did not infrastructure to keep so many jets.
    7. Anil Ambani says my contract has got nothing to do with Rafale jets, I will be making something for Dassault and the two contracts are not linked.
    8. DM says we gave Anil the contract because HAL incompetent to make what Reliance Defense can make.
    9. But Reliance Defense says we are not making any part of the Rafale jet.
    10. DM/FM/PM promise to reveal the price but no one reveals the final price saying it is a secret even when no body is asking what are the additions or secret specifications.
    11. PM and French Government issue statement saying that Rafale jet is the same configuration that was tested by IAF earlier during UPA.
    12. Now IAF chief jumps in and says that Rafale is a great jet and IAF is satisfied with the single jet that has been delivered as of now. This is three years after it was thought urgent to purchase 36 jets in flyaway condition.

    Phew!!!

I think they need to sit down and then decide who is going to say what, when, where and decide on the lies everyone needs to tell. At least be consistent.

With so many lies, I am sure Pakistan will not even dare to attack us for they would not be sure whether India has 1 jet, 36 or 126 and where they are parked and what armaments they have....

But the question I want to ask is to Anil Ambani. Given that you are not making any component for Rafale jet to be delivered to India and given that you are getting an 'offset' contract to manufacture something else for the parent company, Dassault, would you be kind enough to state whether you would have still got the 30,000 Crore 'Offset' contract had there been a no deal with Dassault?

Because from the face of it it looks like because India purchased the jets, you got the deal and if India cancels the deal, your offset contract will also stand cancelled.

Therefore it looks like although you are not making anything for fitting into Rafale jets, you would have got Babaji ka Thullu if the deal had not gone through.

Then how can you say that the two are not related?

And how can Government of India let an offset contract of 30,000 Crores go to a third party private enterprise when it has got a veteran in HAL, which can make just about anything, even the whole Rafale jet, if given a chance. I am sure it can manufacture anything for Dassault if given half an opportunity.

Chowkidar Hi Chor Hai. Lawyer hi Liar Hai, DM does not know her ass from her elbow. And FM as has been already confirmed is a venomous snake.

And Anil Ambani is still a defaulter with 45000 Crore NPA.

People are struggling in their day to day life largely because of faulty, aimless, arrogant polices of Modi Govt. It is a proven fact that economical and social indicators are pushed from average to not performing artificially.

To show them PM is working for them, the easiest these days is digital way. A website hardly takes a week work for a single IT professional. Keeping bhakts occupied and happy is the priority. These kind of vedio messages get retweeted and makes it a biggest debate point for BJP TV anchor like Arnab, whose only job is to make social media propaganda to visual media propaganda. End of the day none are bothered what is the actual benefit to the people.

    Simple.

The government has spent over Rs 7,000 crore in two years to cleanse the Ganga which still remains a "serious enviromental issue", the National Green Tribunal said today as it issued a slew of directives including banning all construction activity within 100 metres of the river edge.

"Even after spending Rs 7304.64 crores upto March, 2017, by the Central Government, State Government and local authorities of the State of UP, the status of river Ganga has not improved in terms of quality or otherwise and it continues to be a serious environmental issue," the NGT said.
