Mangaluru: Parent teachers meeting held at Bertrand Russell School

Mangaluru, Sep 15: Parent teachers meeting was held at Bertrand Russell English Medium High School premises on September 12.

The chief guests of the meeting was Aboobhakhar, the president, Nisha Lakshman, the correspondent, Hassanabha, governing council member, Nithin Mendon, parents teachers association president and Divakar Baikampady, PTA vice-president, Vatsala, the principal, and Geetha, the administrative officer.

The meeting began with invoking of almighty God by students. Vatsala addressed the gathering with the welcome speech. Dhayavathi read out the names of the newly elected president, vice-president and executive members. Nithin Mendon and Divakar Baikampady was re-elected as the president and vice-president with all the approval of parents. New executive members from LKG to Xth std were also elected. Aboobhkhar gave away the roses as a token of love and gratitude to the newly elected president, vice-president and executive members. Geetha addressed the annual report of the year 2017-18.

Parents were given opportunity to share their view and experiences of their children in the school. Nisha Lakshman shared her perspective about the school and gave guidance to the parents on how to build their children’s education life. Nithin Mendon explained the roles and responsibilities of the Executive members and the parents. Aboobhkhar appreciated the school staff who were well qualified and dedicated personnel, and their role in achieving students’ performance in the board exams.

Shwetha concluded with a vote of thanks.
