Mumbai: Ladies wing of Billavara Association holds cooking competition

Mumbai, Sep 18: The ladies wing of Billavara Association on Saturday evening September 15held a cooking competition on Mangaluru's delicacies at Santacruz east, Billavara mini auditorium. The programme held under the leadership of ladies wing president Jayanti V Ullal was inaugurated by association president Chandrashekar S Poojary after lighting the lamp.

Billava chamber of commerce and industries executive president N T Poojary, Vikram travels director Jayashree Shettigar and Jayalaxmi Chandrashekar Poojary were present as guests of honour. Association vice president Shanker D Poojary, former president L V Ameen, former vice presidents Raja V Salian and Purushotham S Kotian, former ladies wing president Shakuntala K Kotian, Varad Ullal, N M Sanil, Sudha Elvy, Yashodha N Poojary, Billavara Bhavan manager Bhasker T Poojary and others were present.



Several vegetarian delicacies of Tulunadu were prepared on the occasion. Vice president Prabha K Bangera, honorary secretary Sumitra S Bangera, joint secretary Kusuma Ameen and executive committee members were present.

Jayanti Ullal welcomed the gathering and delivered the keynote address. Office bearers presented flower bouquets to guests and judges and honored them. Vice president Girija Chandrashekar and Vilasini K Salian sang a prayer song. Dharmesh Salian introduced the guests and compered the programme. Kusuma C Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.
