Mumbai, Sep 18: Election of new office bearers for Billavara Association, Lonavala local office and 164th birth anniversary of Naryanaguru was held at View Point auditorium, Hotel Rainbow Retreat here on Sunday September 16.

Lonavala committee honorary president Sridhar S Poojary and Sukanya Sridar, honorary president Sridhar S Poojary and Meenakshi Shekar, president Ravi A Poojary and Arathi R Poojary couple, honorary secretary Sujatha C Poojary and other office bearers lit the lamp and set the programme in motion.

New office bearers for the period 2018-2021 for Lonavala office were elected. President Ganesh A Poojary took over charge along with other executive committee members. Association honorary chief secretary Dhananjay S Kotian delivered the keynote address and read the list of the new office bearers who took oath.

Shekar A Poojary, vice president, Rajesh S Poojary, honorary secretary, Sandeep S Poojary, honorary treasurer, Ashok Poojary, assistant secretary, Dayanand Poojary, assistant treasurer, executive committee members Shekar B Poojary, Suresh D Poojary, Rajesh S Poojary, Ananda B Poojary, Dinesh H Poojary, Vilasini G Poojary, Sukanya S Poojary, Ashalatha S Poojary, ladies wing members Meenakshi S Poojary, Preethi D Poojary, youth wing members Lohith Poojary, Santhosh Poojary, Ganesh Poojary, Umesh Kotian, Arati R Poojary and Sujatha Poojary took charge.

Lonvavala city parishad president Shradda Jadav, civic worker Vrinda Ganantra, Laxminarayana Shetty, Sathish Salian, Sangeetha Suvarna, Vinayakumar Pimpri, former civic worker Saumya Shetty and others were present. Association vice president Shanker D Poojary, honorary chief treasurer Rajesh J Bangera, joint treasurer Mohan D Poojary, Yuvabhyudaya committee president Nagesh M Kotian, former honorary secretary Dharmapal G Anchan, former treasurer Mahesh C Karkal, Ganesh Bangera Mira road, Jagannath V Ameen Uppala, local committee, former and current office bearers and members were present.

Dhananjay Shanthi sang a prayer song. Yashwanth N Poojary sang devotional songs. Ashalatha S Poojary compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
