Delhi's law and order demolished by BJP men: AAP

New Delhi, Sep 21 (IANS): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj on Thursday said law and order system in the national capital has been "completely demolished" with BJP ministers thrashing people in the streets.

Bharadwaj's remarks came as he talked about a case where a senior citizen, Santosh Kumar Gupta (who narrated the incidence to Bharadwaj) was beaten and threatened by BJP's local Lok Sabha leader Suraj Chauhan (husband of BJP councilor candidate Pratibha Chauhan) and his driver Ravi in August this year.

Bharadwaj said the victim had gone to Malviya Nagar Police station with a CCTV recording of the assault, where he was told to wait for 2 hours and even after that the police did not register the complaint.

On the other hand, the Malviya Nagar SHO told IANS that no FIR has been registered and that the matter between Santosh and the BJP politician was already resolved.
