Mangaluru: St Gerosa welcomes Asian Benchpress Powerlifting Champion silver medalist Panchami

Mangaluru, Sep 28: Panchami who represented India in the 83 kg sub-junior category of the Asian Benchpress Powerlifting Championship held in Dubai, received a red carpet welcome at her school premises of St Gerosa by the management, staff and students.

Accompanied by her parents she marched in procession with the school band thunderous applause by the students, bouquets of flowers by the correspondent, headmistress, staff members and student representatives.



A wish song was composed to felicitate her on the occasion.

Molly compered the programme aptly. Sr Genevive the correspondent greeted her on this event and wished that the silver may turn to gold in the coming year. Expressing her joy, Panchami said that she is indebted to her parents, school and to her friends.
