Delhi girl injured in shooting


New Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS): A 20-year-old girl was injured on Monday after her colleague shot her here, police said.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajendra Prasad Meena said the accused was absconding after the incident that took place at about 9 a.m. in north Delhi's Pitampura area.

"The assailant has been identified," he said, adding the victim was being treated at the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital.

"The accused was her neighbour earlier and the two are currently working together," Meena added.
