Bahrain, Nov 3: The members of Karavali Konkans Association enjoyed a day of picnic filled with fun and games at Holiday Villa in Sitra.

All the members and their families joined at the poolside for a day of enjoyment that included throwball, volley ball, dumb charade etc., besides bombing the city, swimming race, couple games and a game of dance for the little ones.

A sumptuous breakfast was provided by Chef’s Corner – courtesy Vittal Shetty and buffet lunch by Papillon Restaurant.

During the day-long fun, Boniface Noronha, a founding member of the Association, was felicitated by the president, Ronald D F D’Souza, who was presented with a farewell memento, as he is leaving Bahrain for good.  Noronha recollected memories of his association with the organization and said that he was leaving Bahrain, which was his home for the past 35 years, with a heavy heart and wished the Association all the very best.

A round of bingo was organized for everyone with attractive cash prizes. At the end, the president thanked each and every member who contributed to the enjoyable day of fun and solicited their support for the forthcoming events.
