So the kulur bridge suddenly became weak?? What were highway authority doing? Sleeping for so long ? This looks like mafia of babus and politicians!
    1. Once the bridge is closed, there will be long que of vehicles burning extra fuel - govt benefits.
    2. Don't maintain the roads - vehicles are taken for repairs - govt benefits on taxes.
    3. Collect toll on the roads - easy money for the govt!

Where does all the money goes?? Ordinary citizens like me are left to suffer year after year. No one listens.....

We need 'proactive ' people at the decision making levels and not the present 'reactive ' ones.....

Old bridge can be used for light vehicles, at least fill the potholes in the bridge to reduce the traffic congestion. Because of this potholes, bridge is getting more worse due to vibration.

    That's a very good point...
Due to potholes a loaded truck can give rapid shocks to the bridge. Hope someone suggests this point to the concerned authorities..

Guess by the time all the development work is half done, all our dear politicians will be 79 years old and retired from politics and they will say the current govt of that time is responsible for the delay.

Our grand kids will go to places in flying cars. And then will not be any use for bridges or multilane roads.

The so called flyover in pump well will become a prehistoric monument and there will be package tours conducted to see it.
