PM Modi’s lookalike Abhinandan Pathak to campaign for Congress in 2019 polls!

New Delhi, Oct 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's doppelganger, Abhinandan Pathak who was earlier seen with the BJP has decided to campaign for the Congress party in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The BJP had encashed on Pathak's resemblance to Modi in state assembly elections across the country.

On Wednesday, Pathak met UPCC president Raj Babbar and expressed his desire to campaign for the Congress. During his visit, Pathak was mocked by the Congress workers and asked him about PM's promise of Rs 15 lakh made during 2014 election campaign.

Pathak was quoted by TOI saying, "Such questions have compelled me to come to the Congress Party. I intend campaigning against BJP in the 2019 elections. I am a huge admirer of PM Modi and the PM has accepted me with open arms. However, I am forced to campaign for the Congress due to unfulfilled promises. I have urged the UPCC chief to set a meeting with Congress president Rahul Gandhi."

Pathak had contested Lok Sabha poll in 1999 and Vidhan Sabha election in 2012. He has also served as corporator twice from Saharanpur.

    The problem is if he campaigns for any party, his words are not likely to be taken seriously. That is because people who are not aware that his looks resemble those of Modi, will think that it is Modi himself who is campaigning.     UN's Secretary General has honoured PM Modi by presenting Champions of the earth award along with French President Macron. Whole world has woken up to this man's charisma & the rise of India as a global power house. All true Indians are proud of our PM's abilities except for a few like some in this very august super intellectuals who are stuck with a mindset of petty nonsensic sense of understanding of the realities on the ground. Because of people of the caliber of these intellect, India has been laughed at for comparing RaGa to Modi & now feeling happy for having found a Modi clone to canvas for a party.
