BJP MLA Sriramulu’s niece gets engaged to Congress leader’s son

Bellary, Oct 6: At a time when cold war is brewing between the Congress and the BJP over power, BJP MLA Sriramulu is entering into marriage alliance with the Congress.

Daughter of former MP J Shantha will soon enter into wedlock with a Congress leader's son. Shantha is Sriramulu's sister. Her only daughter Prasanna Laxmi got engaged to Congress leader B Seena's son Pavan Kumar recently.

The wedding will take place on October 11 at Allama Bhavana in Bellary. The names of BJP MLA Sriramulu and Congress MLC K C Kondaiah are printed in the invite for the wedding proving that in politics no one is a friend or enemy.

The marriage alliance has indeed left the BJP and Congress workers in surprise and the netizens on social media amused.

    This is not new in Indian politics. Relatives are in rival parties.

    BJP leader Ravi Shankar prasad wife's brother is Rajeev Shukla leader of Cong.

    BJP CM Vasundare Raje's brother's ( Late Madhav Rao Scindia Cong leader) son is Jyothiraditya Scindia leader of Cong.

    Two Jarkiholi brothers are in Cong and other is in BJP.

    Guttedar family was also belonging to different parties.

    Like this there are numerous examples.
