London, Nov 6: For the first time in the history of the United Kingdom, the long-cherished dream of staging a Mangalorean Konkani drama will be realized on Sunday December 14, 2008.

UK Konkans in association with UAE Exchange UK and Palms of Goa Restaurant London is proud to present this hilarious Konkani drama “Canadaso Comblo” for the Konkani loving people in the UK.

The play is scripted by Ashuntha Pereira, Gantalkatte while screenplay and direction is provided by Praveen D’Costa, Kulshekar.

Various talented artists have come forward to keep alive the art of drama and the spirit of Konkani amongst migrant Mangaloreans in the UK.

The premier show of 'Canadaso Comblo' will be staged on Sunday December 14, 2008 at The Addlestone Community Centre, Surrey, KT15 2NJ.

As there are limited seats available for this show, the organizers have requested the Konkani drama lovers to their seats well in advance or latest by Sunday November 30, 2008.
