Mangaluru, Oct 13: Srinivas Institute of Technology’s MBA students association 'VOLMAS' was inaugurated on Friday October 12.

Jayaraj K, branch manager– Bajaj Capital Ltd, here was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the gathering he emphasized the importance of such associations as well as management skills every management student should possess. He also inspired students to become good managers in future and suggested several ways to save their money and learn about investment opportuities.

Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college and president of the function, congratulated the association members for forming the association and for adding the new activities. He said more activities should be conducted under the association for the development of students, emphasized the importance of education as well as explained how actively each and every student make use of the opportunity.

Thirthesh K N welcomed the gathering, Supreetha introduced the guest to the audience and office bearers were introduced by staff coordinator of VOLMAS Prof Praveena D. Chaithra S, secretary of VOLMAS read out the action plan for the academic year. Mahammad Mansoor president of VOLMAS presented the vote of thanks. Dr Ajoy S Joseph head of MBA department was also present on the occasion. Nida Ayesha and Rahila Banu was master of ceremony of the programme.
